Some people can't watch campus dramas because they think it's too shallow. In fact, the more "shallow" things are, the more difficult it is to photograph. If a youth campus drama is filmed well, it can produce works such as "Campus Musical", "Legal Beauty", and "One Kiss". Kind of tacky.
Obviously, "Youth" belongs to the former.
The film revolves around the troubles of love in Georgia, and explores the most common contradictions in life, such as personal and family, love and friendship, sincerity and hypocrisy.
In the discussion and review of life itself, the heroine Georgia has gradually changed from a girl who is a little selfish and full of unrealistic fantasies to a person who can think maturely and think more about others.
Although trying to grow up will always bring people some kind of confusion or pain, but perhaps this is the true meaning of everyone's life - we will always learn the essence of growth itself in the process.
This comedy is very skillful, and the jokes are very life-like, erasing the usual absurd atmosphere of British comedy (see "Little Britain" to know the complete British humor), making people feel like: "Ah, I thought I would do such a stupid thing back then." It was as if the protagonist lived next door to our house, and looking at her face, we all felt like we were looking in the mirror.
The ending of the film is HAPPY ENDING, and it is very happy to solve all the contradictions at one time. As the so-called "grass snake gray line stretches thousands of miles", we have to admire the director's ingenuity and just right at the end.
In short, this is one of the few excellent campus comedies in the past year. Friends who like youth films should not miss it!
