Fat civet cats, I like them very much; stupid civet cats, I like them very much; civet cats who persevere for their goals, I like them very much; civet cats who always face life with a smile, I like them very much. . . I don't know why I don't like them, I don't know why I want to hurt them. It's just that human beings want to survive and develop. This is a resource that is robbed between one species and other species. Just seeing the mountains and waters, the old trees, the small bridges, maybe at that moment, it evokes more than the memory of the characters in the film. So so many people will be moved to tears at that moment. Maybe our presence inadvertently affects other creatures, so be grateful. God has given human beings powerful adaptability and wisdom that is stronger than all living things. Humans who are just standing at the top of the biological pyramid may regret it. This wisdom also brings people too much melancholy, so they cannot be as happy as civet cats. Every time I watch this film, my heart will warm. No matter what the result is, in the process of hard work, I have laughed, lost, been ridiculed for stupidity, or beaten, it is also a wonderful life.

A film about the civet cats in the forest resisting urbanization to protect the forest. The whole film is full of joy and happiness, but it makes people unhappy after watching it. The theme of environmental protection can still resonate with the audience so easily, and the climax of finally changing into a rural appearance also evokes the idea of urban people returning to rural life.

Master Hage lands on Gonta and clings to his back. The Taka tanuki struggles, then hops around on all fours and turns into a horse. Hage rides around the clearing. Water seems to flood into the clearing, and Master Hage rides Gonta into it. Before them is an image of the sea, and three boats. One of the boats has the image of a woman standing on the bow of the boat and a fan on the top of the mast. Hage draws a bow and shoots the fan, sending it flying into the air]
