Cassandra's Dream

This is a story about punishment. Stories about dreams and paths, hopes and missteps. Not simple good and evil, nor simple love and hatred. How lovely the older brother and younger brother are, how distressing the mistakes they made. In the end, even though we forgive them, they still can't forgive themselves.
There are some difficulties that we have to face head on, and it’s just fine to carry them through, even if a leg is broken by a loan shark or a house is burned down.
But some roads are a mislabeled journey, they point to hotels in California, and end up taking you to the gates of hell.
Life is a gamble. We are all gamblers, but few people know that it is themselves who are in the bank. You decide to win all or lose the world.
The lovely older brother loves his father, loves his younger brother, and even loves the woman who fascinates him, so he has to love his future and his bright future.
The lovely younger brother loves his older brother, loves his girlfriend, but doesn't love himself. He feels that his cards have come to an end, and his fate has come to an end with an unforgivable mistake.
The two brothers love their boat so much, they never go out to sea alone, driving a new sailboat that they bought and repaired, brother to brother.
Their Cassandra dream never started, 60 to 1 was no fun, winning or losing was the same.
Their never-successful dad says it will be a pile of remorse to win back.
You dealt yourself a good deck of cards, and then you win, and the bet is your own life. Life is a gamble.

Their uncle, in the end, is still alive and well. really interesting.

Cassandra's Dream quotes

  • Father: Nobody wants to be selfish, but everybody is.

  • Mother: Everybody predicted great things for Ian. He's so nice looking and personable. Now, it's a mystery to me why he's not more successful.

Father: Because he's not content with what he has. He sees himself like Howard, with a fancy life. Always got some scheme. Always waiting for his ship to come in.

Mother: Well, his ship won't come in at the restaurant. He does that out of a son's love for his father.

Father: Like the poet said, "The only ship certain to come in has black sails."
