lust and love

In my sophomore year, my friend and I took an elective class on "European Films", and the first class was "Citizen Kane". I am not a person who can sensitively capture and express what is hidden behind the plot and techniques of the film, but I watched the film unknowingly, and later took this elective course. In that class, I watched a lot of movies, such as "The Last Subway", "Green Light", "About My Mother", and I liked the feeling of watching these movies, although I didn't know the director wanted to tell What am I, but those lights and shadows seem to be truly interpreting the sorrow and joy of our lives, and I am like an old man basking in the sun on a street corner, calmly witnessing what happened, with a broad smile on the corner of my mouth.
At that time, the teacher mainly introduced Almodovar's films, from the youthful "The Bullfighter" to "High Heels", to the "About My Mother" full of holy warmth. This is a very talented director. Regardless of the hidden meaning behind the work, just in terms of the techniques used, it can also make people appreciate it. It is mature and exquisite, and every piece of film is not wasted. In the meantime, the teacher mentioned one of his films. The name was really tempting, so he remembered it in his mind for a long time. This is "Living Fragrance".
The film begins to spend one-tenth of its time explaining the life experience of the protagonist Victor. His mother is a sex worker, and this is destined to be another fatherless child. It's a bit miserable that he fell on a bus in Madrid late at night, when there were no ghosts on the streets. At the same time, his birth also brought a bit of comedy to the city. After the mayor heard the news, he sent baby clothes, and the boss of the bus company followed up and sent a lifetime free bus pass. warmth. Life is often like this, lust arises, sorrows and joys are mixed, we can't understand the gains and losses, but we can only immerse in it and go with the waves. I really liked the part where Isabelleta gave birth to Victor, it was so warm and heartwarming, even the bad weather in Madrid seemed to have a kind smile.
The latter is the story of Victor's adulthood. All the conflict stems from Victor's love for Elena (and a one-night stand) and David's extramarital affairs with his partner, Sancho's wife, Clara. As if everything was predestined, it starts with lust, and once it starts, it goes on irreversibly, and we can only see people's emotions and lusts transform and oscillate dramatically in it. Finally, this intertwined world finally begins to clear and calm, everyone gets what they deserve, but life is no longer so erotic, more love. Perhaps Sancho's words before his death were right: your life doesn't really belong to you, no one really owns his youth, and the woman he loves. Our lives are not our own until we know how to love and understand others.
The ending of the film is also very interesting, Elena and Victor are living together, and Elena is pregnant with Victor's child. On Christmas Eve when Victor turned 26, the child was born in their private car. However, this child not only has his mother, but also his father by his side. Recalling the birth of Victor, the movie seems to tell us that human love continues in this way.

Only pure and natural love can stay together for a lifetime. Once it is mixed with too many other factors, it may be the beginning of tragedy.
