I used to complain before why our country always spends a lot of time re-shooting those classic dramas, such as Journey to the West, Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Condor Heroes, etc. It takes a lot of money and wastes people's money, and it's not as good as the previous ones. In fact, foreigners also like to remake, but we remake the classics of martial arts, while others remake the classics.
Everyone will have an insurmountable classic in their hearts. In my case, it is the Pride and Prejudice of the 95th edition of the BBC. But everyone has the right to reproduce the classics according to their own understanding. After the filming, anyone can comment that he/she has enjoyed the process of reproducing the classics according to their own ideas.
Another reason is that we are all getting old, and new classics can always find resonance in the new generation of audiences, and maybe they will become their classics.
