To be honest, after watching "Red Cliff", I didn't have much feeling for this drama, although I wrote a film review to praise it after watching the last episode. But at that time, it was more to support domestic movies, but also to oppose those unscrupulous netizens who sprayed the movie. After all, I personally think that although this movie is a bit strange, it is not sticking to the rules. It is still necessary as a breakthrough, although I feel It's not that comfortable and natural, but it's okay. So based on the above, I didn't have much hope to see it this time.
With this attitude, I started watching the game. The synopsis of the first episode that just opened was well edited, and it looked a lot better than the original film. At the beginning of the film, Sun Shangxiang felt abruptly sneaked into Cao Jun's camp and acted as a traitor, which was an account of the slipping away in the last episode, and then she met "Sun Shuquan" played by Tong Dawei on the side of the Cuju court (this person should be fabricated ). Tong Dawei finally played a role in this play. Although he has been foolishly half-used by Sun Shangxiang, this role is not a burden, but looking at the whole film, I feel that it is a bit tasteless, and it is not so tasty to taste.
On the contrary, Xiao Qiao, played by Lin Chi-ling, performed brilliantly in the next episode. Wu Yusen changed Zhou Yu's bitter trick of beating Huang Gai in the original book to Xiao Qiao's beauty trick to seduce Cao Cao. The director disdains the original work and strives for an innovative style. Lin Chiling's performance is quite satisfactory, it has not become the vase imagined before, and it can be regarded as old Wu's guidance.
The key point is to talk about the scenes of this play. The biggest part of this play is the part where the grass boat borrows arrows and the final total attack. Let's talk about borrowing arrows from grass boats first. The film's dialogue and the timing of throwing burdens are good, but there is no innovation, so it's not satisfactory. The scene was shot well, but the array of arrows when Cao Ying released his arrows was similar to the array of arrows in Zhang Yimou's "Heroes". But personally I don't think there is much room for innovation in this old Wu. After all, there is less room for personal development. There are many such scenes in various film and television works. To be able to do this is already the ultimate. Not too demanding. The most eye-catching part of the passage of the grass boat borrowing arrows is the technical production when Zhuge Liang was watching the sky. Immediately it gives a show of momentum.
The most shocking thing is the head-to-head confrontation of the Battle of Chibi. I can no longer describe the structure of the scene in terms of atmosphere. I can only use domineering to describe such a picture. Especially in the fire attack, as expected of an arsonist specially invited from South Korea (it's a pity to burn a stunt actor to death). The war scene is still a typical Woo Yusen style of violent aesthetics, but this time Old Wu has more money, and applying this method to the ancient war scene will bring out the cruelty of war to the fullest. I have never seen such a domestic war. The film can interpret such audio-visual effects, and there are not many films in Hollywood that can keep pace with it. What's more, this time the scene is not produced by computer like Hollywood, the soldiers are still based on real people, which is more fleshy and visually stimulating. Although Laomei's technology is advanced in making movies, she still has a headache when she encounters such crowded scenes. How can she compare to Chinese extras? ! Coupled with the fact that China Film is willing to spend a lot of money this time, and encounters a Chinese director like Lao Wu who can burn the most money, Americans have to admit it. It seems that Lao Wu has no bait in Hollywood. In terms of momentum, he feels that "Chibi" has surpassed the war scene in "Pearl Harbor". Although there are no action superstars in the martial arts scene, the kung fu scene has never been difficult for Chinese movies, and it is not bad.
Speaking of the plot, if my praise for the lines in the last episode is a kind of maintenance for my own movie, then I think the lines and plot of the next episode are completely worthy of everyone's recognition and appreciation. In addition to modifying Xiao Qiao's beauty plan, the plot of the next episode also simplifies Zhuge Liang's borrowing. It also deleted the Huarong Road of Cao Cao and Guan Yu. I can't say that this kind of modification is bad, after all, the modification made is in line with the director's setting for the play. Woo Yusen is to bring us a different Chibi from the very beginning. In the film, Cao Cao got the line from Cai Mao and Zhang Yun's "Book of Fraudulent surrender", which is very interesting. He said: "The notes are exactly the same, and the words are not linked together. It's completely Cai Mao's style." After speaking, all the audience laughed. . The lines were written in this way on purpose, and it was also a burden to Jiang Gan when he read this letter. I think this is an improvement in Chinese cinema.
A movie is a movie, it is not an absolute copy of history. We always evaluate many historical dramas to see if it is different from the history we know. If there is a slight change, it will be characterized as tampering with history. This is completely similar to the Cultural Revolution. The domineering practice of the "rightists" is neutralized. Film is an art. Since it is art, the director must make some changes to the plot that are conducive to expressing his own vocabulary. Looking at Hollywood's epic masterpieces, this is the case. Once the lines are not as good as I expected, it will be said to be ridiculous. I despise such people. It is recognized that Chinese lines need innovation, but how to innovate is a kind of exploration. I have always felt that the lines of "Chibi" were a bold attempt, much like the breakthrough that "Journey to the West" made in the mid-1990s. I still don't think there's anything wrong with those lines that were ridiculed in the last episode. Who said that historical drama lines must be serious, serious and serious? ! Some people who like to spray just like to do this kind of thing. The plot is too serious to say that it makes people want to sleep. If you make changes, you should change the name to "rare people". As everyone knows, most of the lines in many Hollywood movies can be struck by lightning, and I have not seen him being struck to death by lightning while watching these movies. . .
Needless to say, everyone must watch this film, and I highly recommend everyone to go to the cinema and watch it. Again: only the cinema can achieve such an effect. For those who use a laptop screen of about 1.4 inches to watch, especially the gun version, I don't even bother to pay attention to him~
