"Max Payne" is not disappointing after reading it. Although most of the film reviews are more negative than positive, it is difficult to explain the huge background of the game in an hour and a half.

People who have never played the game at all can understand the meaning of the story by watching this film, which is its saving grace. When I watched "Constantine" a few years ago, I didn't understand it for the first time.

In terms of script, it is widely expected that such an excellent theme will be remade, so the expectations will be so high that you will be very disappointed after watching the movie. Many wonderful details were not reflected. Max's inner contradictions and his dark side were not shown. Instead, he was portrayed like a lone hero. It can be felt that the keynote of the commercial film affected the portrayal of the characters.

But the success is that the production is top-notch, at least for me, it's rare to watch the trailer and get high. I really like the image of the winged demon in the film. The wings behind it are the most beautiful I have ever seen. The proportions are good, they are big enough, and the feathers feel great. They are not too gorgeous or bloody. People with wings are illusory. Makes people uncomfortable. 90% of the expectations for this film came from the charming pair of evil wings seen in the trailer. But honestly, the trailer is better than the movie.

The tone of the film is more metallic and cool, which I like. The single shot shot is very neat, I like it very much.

In short, if you want to see the plot, don't expect too much. If you see the effect, I recommend this film.

Damn it next door! The idiot screenwriter did you know that this film was adapted from Max Payne! Those familiar scenes too! Gunfight! It took me a damn long time to clear the customs! Return me Max Payne! Give me back Mark Wahlberg!

The first 3/4 is a suspense film route, and the last 1/4 returns to the game features. It's a pity that 3/4 is full of loopholes.
