Does the Church know about the dangerous consequences of excavating ruins? Is it a conspiracy of the Church to bring the relics back to Earth?
The film begins by saying that this relic is the second. So how was the first relic dealt with, and what problems did it cause?
And what is the relationship between relics and aliens? After the ruins were excavated, the aliens were released to gnaw on people and slaughtered the colony; the heroine hid beside the ruins, and the mutants could not enter the vicinity of the ruins. Does it mean that the ruins are used to suppress aliens, just like the pagoda suppresses demons? If that's the case, apart from aliens, the ruins shouldn't harm other races. But how can humans be affected by the ruins and kill each other (like the captain and the security guard who split the blue-haired girl in half)?
It seems that many plots of the animations derived from this game are not clearly explained. I don't know if there are corresponding instructions in the game. Alas, after watching the animation anyway, I am not ready to play the game.
