Feminism, hooray!

I don't think it's a movie about a teacher, although she looks like it. I think the theme is still feminism, how should women find their own position, rather than simply becoming an appendage of men.

In a sense, I am a feminist. Because thanks to the feminist movement that year, women have the right to go to college... At the same time, I also think that women's bodies are far more "stronger" than men's, although they seem a little "weak". But why did the Creator impregnate women, but not men? This is actually quite interesting.

The academy in the movie is like a "senior chicken farm". Train women to better serve their husbands and children. Reminds me of a very popular saying, it is better to marry well than to do well. Yes, some women are married well and have no worries about food and clothing. She even got married as soon as she graduated from university, becoming a young grandmother and living a high-end life. But is this kind of life exciting? What's the difference between being a pet and staying at home all day without even working?

It's been a while. Or to go back to the teacher in the movie, it feels ordinary, nothing special. On the contrary, those students are very good, and the teachers are speechless by previewing the whole semester's courses in advance. I don't know what year and month, can I encounter such a scene...

Wellesley~~~ Not everything is as it seems. This movie really hurts! Originally, I looked for peace of mind before leaving, but the more I looked, the more upset I became. I need to figure out what I want. Dating and holding hands are different, so if you don't fall in love, you can directly find a marriage partner. The girls in this school can have both. Half a century of problems continue to toss.

Mona Lisa Smile quotes

  • Bill Dunbar: You got a boyfriend?

    Katherine Watson: Yes.

Bill Dunbar: You know, if you were mine, I'd never let you go.

Katherine Watson: I wouldn't have asked your permission.

  • Katherine Watson: They think you're dangerous?

Amanda Armstrong: Or, no, darling: subversive. It's gotten to the point where you don't know who is protecting whom from what. Or should that be, from whom... Well, whom gives a damn, anyway.
