Angel A "ANGEL-A"

"You just always feel that no one cares about you and warms you. So you fall in love with the first person to do this, and that person is me"

"I am an angel, and I am you" .

This is the classic dialogue in the tenth film "ANGEL-A" directed by Luc Besson. It is said that the director had prepared the outline of the film a long time ago, but the dialogue was always blank. He thought that he was still young, and it was not time to write the dialogue. Therefore, the film had been silent. It appeared quietly when it should have appeared. This is his new film after the controversial "Joan of Arc". Its appearance is very low-key and beautiful. The angels in the film are contrary to the ingrained image of angels in people's minds.

"When our angels receive a new project, they will choose a suitable appearance. This time for you, I chose a prostitute."

"God, does God think that only prostitutes can save me?"

"No, not God. Think, I think so, I am an angel."

A scrawny woman with a height of 180 centimeters, very rebellious, with a man's sense of violence in her bones, and her style of behavior always solves problems by force. But he has always been very caring to the hero Andre. Perhaps this is one of the romantic feelings of the French.

The image of this prostitute reminds me of the legend of Maria Montana in the Bible story. She is the woman in the biblical story who was haunted by seven devils. And her identity is very mysterious. Some think she is the mother of Jesus Christ; some think she is the wife of Jesus Christ; some think she is just a prostitute who needs to be rescued by Jesus Christ. People with all kinds of sayings can cite scriptures and come up with many testimonies. Because of this, Maria Montana exudes a mysterious splendor. This mystery is brought to the extreme by the fictional story The Da Vinci Code. For most people, there is almost a pot of porridge in their minds, chaos. But one thing is for sure, Montana is a devil-ridden whore.

Therefore, in Luc Besson's film, it is not surprising that Montana appears as an angel. Perhaps this is a complex of the world that cannot be fully explained.

The male protagonist in the film is an American of Arab descent, small, with a beard, unkempt curly black hair, and a sloppy and down-to-earth look. He had a miserable life in Paris. He lied and owed debts everywhere, and was chased to the point that he was about to commit suicide by jumping into a river. Before jumping off the bridge, he was unwilling to look up to the sky and asked, "Is this the life you gave me?" Inadvertently turning around, he saw a tall and thin blonde standing on another pier. , she, like him, chose to commit suicide in this place and this time. After she jumped, Andrei jumped down and rescued her before she had time to think about it. This small sense of accomplishment made him feel that at least he didn't have a life in the afterlife in vain, and he still felt that someone needed him when his life came.

The synopsis of the disc is very simple: "This is a story of a man who has never known love, looking for love. A frustrated Chaplin-esque man meets a blonde beauty on the Seine, two people from different worlds in Paris ten District Five puts on a bizarre black comedy."

The whole film is black and white, and the sense of humor is also contained in the clean and simple black and white. Just in the process of watching it, I can't help but think: when even angels choose to use violence to deal with the thorny problems of human beings, there may be no better way. In short, this person can't really commit suicide.

Luc Besson's films always give people a sudden relief from a desperate situation. "This killer is not too cold" also gives the same feeling. In the stories he tells, the protagonist always seems to be a man hanging on a cliff, whose life is threatened and can eat happy wild strawberries. In "ANGEL-A", this kind of emotion is even more obvious. It is more like a fairy tale, but this fairy tale belongs to the adult world, and belongs to every adult who dreams of beautiful dreams in difficult situations. Therefore, it lacks color. To be more precise, it should be that it does not need rich colors, as long as black and white are enough to warm people's hearts.

In front of the mirror, Tian wrapped Andrei with his white arms. When they stared at Andre's dark and deep eyes in the mirror, the angel's light appeared. Those warm words not only warmed Andre's cold heart, but also warmed everyone who heard her. the voice of the heart. There are very few times when the tears of the viewers and the people in the play can flow out at the same time. This really requires magical language, and "ANGEL-A" can really do it.

I saw another viewer named TMD say: "When the man looked into the water, I secretly swore: If you don't give me a happy ending, I will never watch your movie again! Fortunately, the director finally let the angel Appearing in front of us."

I laughed, and I couldn't believe that the angel really didn't appear anymore.

Still, if Luc Besson doesn't end up letting the Angel come back, I'm still going to watch his next movie.
