Jodie Foster wouldn't be where he is now if it wasn't for that "Reagan stabbing" incident. The shadow that that incident brought to her, in fact, has not faded until now.
From "Silence of the Lambs", "Thriller Space", "Air Crisis", until this "Angel of Vengeance", most of the films are inseparable from the sudden danger and fear.
That unease, that fear, still affects her to this day.
Americans like this film partly because of the "911" incident. I think this is one of the reasons why the story in the film takes place in New York.
