Marlon Brando said a lot in a wheelchair, in fact, I never understood what he was implying. I thought that as an old man, I would enlighten a young man. Because~ I don't think it's very logical. How could someone spend money to torture people to death?
At the beginning, the film seemed a bit too procrastinated. Johnny went to look for a "job" without thinking "There's no reason at all~
However, after knowing that he decided to die, looking at his eyes, there seems to be no despair. Maybe, in that tavern, he knew, and accepted, that he could let his family leave this kind of place forever... Maybe sacrificing his life wasn't so scary, or... at least, the child's future wouldn't be scary for
a week. In a week, I was suspected, I paid for my children, made my friends happy, and the estrangement with my wife disappeared. Before leaving, he made one, which is called repentance. But who can God save? Ok? Will it keep slums from being levelled by a bunch of machines? Or make it possible for people who know to die without having to exchange their lives for the shelter of their wives and children? !
God! God you are worthless in front of the real and hideous face of the world! What prayer, what repentance! What forgiveness, what salvation, what atonement! In front of life, in the world, you are nothing but a corpse nailed to a cross! It's just for people to worship, ha, it's better to say that it's a statue for people to ridicule, that's all! Do you know a person? They are called poor people. Do you think they were created for entertainment? Is it because they should be abused and should exchange their lives for a shelter?
Asshole...a life for an asylum...is this the so called f**king life?
Maybe the movie doesn't need an ending, so Johnny walks through that door, the door to hell. And so, it's dark...
