Two little boys who are the outliers in the crowd, one mischievous and one religious, these two people who are not accepted by the mainstream crowd unexpectedly become friends. They are close to each other and understand each other because they want to realize a dream. In the process of getting along with them, there is confusion and more happiness. They do what others don't allow them to do, and they find happiness in their own world.
The religious are playing the role of homophobes, they are afraid of all differences, they demand that everyone be like them. But this is really just to satisfy their selfishness, they voyeurize, meddle in other people's lives, control other people's lives, and even think they act as a measure of morality. Morality should be judged by God, not by these mortals. Will chose to resist when faced with those who tried to distort his humanity. In the end, Will's family resolutely said no to this vindicator who imposed shame on others.
The appearance of French students attracted Will's attention, and such a dazzling boy attracted everyone's attention. As the saying goes, beautiful boys are unreliable, will be attracted by the colorful circle of beautiful boys and betray Carter. When the disaster was imminent, they went their separate ways, but the beautiful boy ruthlessly abandoned Will, and in the end, it was Carter who helped Will.
The final result is of course a happy ending, and will and carter have gained everyone's understanding and respect. The prince and the prince lived a happy life together.
What's beautiful is that the director named the movie "son of rambow", which played a word game here. Rainbow and rambow look a bit similar from a distance, but the film is interspersed with rambo movies, and the specious text reminds you not to just look at the surface. At the end of the curtain, the director was afraid that everyone would not understand, and finally told everyone that there is no w in rambo. Ha ha, of course, the superfluous is not w, only the rainbow has w.
