All the movies give a very fresh feeling. The story takes place in winter, my favorite season. I really liked Frankie as a kid, especially during the day he spent with his "father", when he was proud to write down and tell his mom and friends "this is my dad", I was completely overwhelmed by what I didn't get for a long time. The simplicity of a child who is cared for by a father is touched by the contentment.
The relationship between my mother and "father" also left me with some suspense. Will they form a family? Children know the truth of everything at the end. From when he took down the map on his own wall, it could be seen, but not where his disappointment was.
At the end of the movie, the mother and son are sitting on the dock where the man left, as if waiting for the return of the man, giving people infinite reverie. I think this is the best ending compared to the happy ending of another family. After all, life is full of variables.
