a little detail

After seeing mulder and scully, and seeing the UFO poster on the wall, I have been using it as a blog picture, but I didn't expect the words above to become the name of the second movie.
Mulder was still cutting newspapers, sticking pens to the ceiling, and eating melon seeds. Scully is still a doctor, still persuading Mulder. Some of the details at the beginning make me think this is a more elaborate movie. The later super bad translation (lung cancer = long term cancer) and the dragging plot made me sleepy. I'm going to read it again and make a conclusion.

Question: When the camera pans to the picture of the little bush in the fbi corridor, the theme music of the X-Files series plays, what is the purpose? Then pan to a black and white photo, who is the fat man in it? Why did Scully and Mulder look at each other after seeing these two pictures?

The X Files: I Want to Believe quotes

  • Dana Scully: What was it you were praying for in there, sir?

Father Joe: For the salvation of my immortal soul.

Dana Scully: And do you think God hears your prayers?

Father Joe: Do you think he hears yours?

Dana Scully: I didn't bugger 37 altar boys.

    Father Joe: Oh.

Fox Mulder: That's a colorful way of puttin' it.

Dana Scully: Well, I have another word, if you'd like.

Fox Mulder: I'm sure you do.

  • Dana Scully: You know, the truth is, I worrry about you, and the effects of long-term isolation.

Fox Mulder: [chuckling] I'm fine here. I'm happy as a clam.
