This is a deep story of love, selfless love, and love that transcends the ego. Tessa traded her life for the right to let people know the truth. Those who drowning in the system of exchanging killing to get rich, the chain of interests one after another, only fell apart one by one until she was unable to protect herself. Justin's love for Tessa drives him, who had been alone, to truly understand the system he had been in for a long time but never really understood. He said, "I'm going to do what she's going to do." Justin finally fulfilled his promise, Sitting where Tessa was killed, facing his fate calmly, he could live completely, but he didn't, just as he said that Tessa was his home, and now he has no home.
Originally, I was always curious about what kind of huge "monster" Tessa discovered, but slowly I found that both Tessa and Justin were just an "if". This film uses more real footage to record the African scene. The pathos of the piece of land, and the vitality that makes people unable to not be moved by it, are as strong as the life blooming in the cracks of the stone. Through these precious lenses, we who live on the other side of the earth can learn that there is such a barren land, full of war, famine and disease, but the people there still have not forgotten how to smile and raise their heads to live with dignity.
