[Predator] Even from the perspective of "Shuangpian" standards, it is very bad

The movie "Predator" is puzzling: how it was allowed to start shooting with the senior officials of Fox. .

The material of "Predator" is very problematic, because it can't even cut a basic story line, so that the audience can't understand what kind of story it is trying to tell. Perhaps it was because the script was not enough at the beginning, or there might be a situation where the final content was not filmed and some materials were not used because of the fact that the final content was not filmed and some materials were not used. It stands to reason that as long as there is a script from the past, it can at least maintain the continuity of the story even if it is unbearable. But the movie "Predator" seems to be a scarce material, and can only barely piece together a 107-minute movie with the only things on hand.

This film really lacks a popular and charming action actor to support. One of the reasons for the explosion of the original "Predator" was that everyone was happy to watch Arnold Schwarzenegger fight a desperate struggle with a very nervous and oppressive alien. After "Predator 2" changed people, the box office plummeted and ended disastrously. The 2010 version of "The New Predator" also has the support of actor Adrian Brody. Even the fan favorite "Alien vs. Predator" was able to achieve good results at the box office because it was able to find an image that rivals the predator in some respects. In this sequel, almost no actor can be hooked with the words "action superstar". On this point, the appeal of the film is much lower than in the past.

But this also means that there is no other way. As long as you can successfully portray characters that are pleasing and that the audience cares about, you can continue. But "Predator" not only does not provide a protagonist who can capture the audience's attention, but also contains a lot of other supporting characters who don't even have the meaning of existence. These main characters are just a series of coincidences when they met each other, and after telling a few jokes and making a few shots, they confusedly chose to fight together against alien creatures that were much stronger than themselves. There is no common interest or purpose between them worthy of this risk. What’s even stranger is that after being pieced together to form a team, they did not talk about tactics and teamwork when fighting the enemy. The only expectation that the audience has built for these characters and this story is that our appearance is simply I want the audience to watch how we were killed one by one by the predator. But the problem is that even selling plasma is so plain and boring in this film, and it is simply unrealistic to expect to find excitement. "Predator" is terrible even from the standards of "Shuangpian".

Everyone is very strict, although there are many small problems, but the overall should at least pass. I thought it was a routine of "saving the world" before, but it turned out that the layout is quite small, a bit like "Suicide Squad", and the finished film is an orthodox Hollywood-style film. If such a highly completed industrial film even gets a passing score None of them, so what happened to the previous Marvel movies (also highly accomplished but not much new) that went straight to eight points? - Crazy talk from an audience

The Predator quotes

  • Quinn McKenna: What's with the polygraph? I thought this was a psych eval.

VA Psych: We need to know if you pose a threat.

Quinn McKenna: Oh, I'm a sniper. Isn't posing a threat kind of the fucking point?

  • Casey Bracket: I think they're attempting hybridization.

Quinn McKenna: You're just pulling this out of your ass.

Casey Bracket: Did you not see the new Predator? It's evolving.

    Quinn McKenna: Or being upgraded.
