It’s been a long time since I watched such a good American silly movie. There are a lot of American silly movies about healing, but after watching many of them, they all have some shortcomings. Either the logic is not clear, the plot development is not sufficient, or there are individual Actors look unsatisfactory and so on. With thousands of choices, this natural couple can be said to be the perfect pair. The two little guys are very attractive, clever and ghostly. The little girls performed superbly in the details of the play, especially in terms of accents. With the geographical change and identity exchange between the United States and the United Kingdom, they really did not forget the subtle but important things of changing their accents. It can be seen that the serious attitude of the screenwriter and director, even if it is a big silly film, it can be treated as a blockbuster. The choice of roles for both parents is also satisfying. Father is a typical handsome American uncle, humorous and full of cowboy temperament, which is very suitable for his large manor. The mother is a bit like Diana Faye Wong, and her noble temperament is superb, but as a fashion designer and a woman who can make love at first sight with a man on a cruise ship, her little nervousness is not super cute. In the end, the mature contemplation of the real meaning of the compound and the retreat is also very accurate. My favorite is the scene where she crossed the road with He Li on the way to the studio. It was so beautiful that it made people drool.
In the supporting roles, the man's nanny is sensual and enthusiastic, and the woman's housekeeper is gentle and delicate, with a little neurotic like the hostess. Everything is so right. After they met, although they only developed feelings as a supporting role, they didn't think it was a far-fetched reunion, but they were a natural couple who answered the question as it should have been.
The cast of the villain Bad Auntie is also very satisfying, beautiful, with a little bit of evil, stupidity and hysteria, which is quite in line with the image of the stepmother who is like a fairy and a scorpion in many fairy tales. And the courage to eat lizards for the character is really admirable, although I always thought it was just a plastic model. . .
In terms of plot, the rhythm of the whole film is well controlled. The two little girls go from knowing each other, hating each other, to understanding each other, discovering the truth, exchanging with each other, and then fighting for the happiness of their parents together. Not impatient, which is within the capabilities of eleven-year-olds, and is all the more endearing for their unusualness.
There are explanations before the film, echoes later, and the emotions are sublimated step by step, and finally the two people who were born a pair come together again. What is presented to the audience is a perfect happy ending that can laugh and cry.
I have to say, it's a really good movie to watch.

Lindsay’s room at that time actually had Leonardo posters from the Titanic era. . . After growing up, he really played with him. Sure enough. . I'm gossiping.

I really like this light comedy with a great plot. How can these two little girls' acting skills be so good

    Hallie: We actually did it!

  • Martin, the James' Butler: Shall we review your mother's list?

    Annie: Mm-hmm.

Martin, the James' Butler: Now, let's see. Vitamins?

    Annie: Check.

    Martin, the James' Butler: Minerals?

    Annie: Check.

Martin, the James' Butler: List of daily fruits and vegetables?

    Annie: Check, check.

    [Martin glances at Annie]

Annie: Check for fruits, check for vegetables. Go on.

Martin, the James' Butler: Sunblock, lip balm, insect repellent, stationery, stamps, photographs of your mother, grandfather, and of course, your trusty butler, me.

Annie: Got it all, I think.

Martin, the James' Butler: Oh, and here's a little something from your grandfather.

[Holds up a deck of cards]

Martin, the James' Butler: Spanking new deck of cards. Maybe you'll actually find someone on this continent who can whip your tush at poker.

Annie: Well, I doubt it, but thanks, Martin.
