Then, came Anais' voice from out of the scene:
“That morning I wept.
I wept because I loved the streets
that took me away from Henry...
and would lead me back to him.
I wept because the process
by which I had become a woman...
was painful.
I wept because from now on I would weep less.
I wept because I had lost my pain,
that I was not yet accustomed to its absence."
I searched internet and got a sentence like this that did not appear in the movie, so I assumed that it's from the novel: "I[Anais ] wept because my eyes were opened to reality - to Henry's selfishness, June's love of power, my insatiable creativity which must concern itself with others and cannot be sufficient to itself." That's it. June said to Anais that "Henry said that you just took us in because you are bored.” Anais cried and denied it as a lie. However, she spiritually needs such communication and adventure, which I consider as true.
