It's all about math

It happened that I watched three movies in a row that used mathematics to talk about things, and it was somewhat embarrassing for some science idiots who have not yet figured out how much water is in the box and how much is left in the end. Fortunately, I still understand and understand what suspense movies are about, and I also know that many of the same type of movies before did not use the advanced science of mathematics as an element.
What is commendable is that through these three films, I have come to understand a truth - mathematics is used to summarize laws, and these laws exist in the form of truth. To be able to sum up the correct laws, one must be rational. Mathematicians are inevitably very rational, and they all seem to be strangely obedient. Therefore, the embarrassing things that mathematicians have done are very new.

"Oxford Mystery" (UK) 2007
was adapted from the original novel of the superior. The director's skills are acceptable. The story is to highlight the suspense and more professional esoteric mathematics, as well as the mystery of the Oxford campus. The long shots in the film are wonderful, not only explaining the complexity of many characters and the mystery and weirdness of Oxford Academy, but also rendering an outstanding suspenseful atmosphere. In the opening chapter, Professor A's one-man show speech is very dramatic, and A's acting skills are old and strong.
This well-made movie is a serious mystery drama. Among them are all kinds of sharp points of human nature, and the magic of the film is that the two sides use mathematical knowledge to carry out or detect murder cases. Every scrutiny is a standard reasoning movie style, but it tells about the eternal struggle between youth and old age, progress and staleness, exploration and self-appointment, truth and selfish desire.
The final reversal of the film is wonderful and fashionable, and it is very reliable in terms of reason and reason, and it is still the standard mode of wits movies nowadays. From this, we can understand a truth: the same study of a knowledge, in the hands of good people is justice; in the hands of bad people is bloody; in the hands of the public is controversy. "Oxford Mystery" is abstruse because of mathematics, but the truth of life it tells is very realistic.
Behind the mathematical problems, the high and noble living places also have the selfish thoughts of people who are full of grains and miscellaneous grains. This is the normal state of human beings.

Fermat's Room (Spain) 2007
This Spanish suspense movie uses a lot of advanced professional brain teasers to mobilize the audience's attention. It is fun to hear the answer every time, because these people are being locked in a secret room and are deliberately squeezed by a punch. The film inspired by "The Chainsaw" obviously has a high intention, but the short length and the roughness of Dong Shi Xiao's frown affect the look and feel of the film.
A group of four came to Fermat's room through a math game and found that Mr. Fermat's life was seriously threatened for offending Mr. Fermat. The style of the small-format secret room movie has come all the way through mathematical problems, but the shortness and weakness of the director's narrative ability is like drawing a tiger in front of the script, telling a story for the sake of storytelling, and that's it.
This is a serious propositional film. Although the mathematical elements are novel and ingenious, the storytelling that is deliberately imitated is disappointing. This Spanish version of "Chainsaw" is like a typical copy of a creator who worships the elements of the secret room. As long as the link makes sense, other parts are ignored.
When I saw the final film length and the math question and answer I went through, I felt fooled. Fortunately, there is still some unique visual sense of European films. Great video game.

"Blackjack Battle" (United States) 2008
The top students who are proficient in memorizing numbers earn 21 points in the casino, and finally survive on the edge of depravity. I thought that these top mathematicians had any skills at all, and their feelings were just a group of fraudulent gangs with excellent memory. The film replicates all the popular entertainment models in Hollywood. It is a pure American version of Hong Kong-made gambling films.
If it's a fiction, it's an adaptation of a real person. The director of this film is quite hateful, and completely discards the concept of depth. When you are poor and inspirational, you pretend to be touching, when you are sensual, it becomes a fashion show, when you are cheated, it is like a gangster movie, and when you reverse your opponent, it is like a legendary hero movie. This movie only thinks of cool entertainment in its bones, and it is extremely vulgar and despicable.
There is no need to sublimate anything, but it is not noble to enhance the fun to a low level. I don't know what the film is going to tell you. A bunch of young students are posing like a battle-hardened gangster killer. Who are you kidding? It is estimated that only the parties concerned looked happy and looked great, but they were also scolding in their hearts? You don't take your hard work too seriously!
This is the most ineffective movie. It's quite a Hollywood gossip. You can't do this when you make a movie. You don't accumulate virtue.

When studying mathematics, the process of argumentation is full of fun and nobility, but also full of danger and oppression. The power of indulging in it will eventually connect with all things in the world, and suddenly the sense of achievement is not comparable to ordinary people. Mr. Wang Xiaobo left mathematics but wrote such a complete and interesting text. It can be seen that the mystery of mathematics is extraordinary, and it seems that it is not the same thing as the liberal arts.
It is admirable to take people who are good at mathematics, especially when solving problems. However, people still have to be people. Even if you are only a high-ranking person and can handle 1+1 until it is not equal to 2, but evil and selfish thoughts are put into your head by the devil, you will eventually have a big problem. All three movies seem to be saying the same thing.
