A large collection of Japanese elements in the minds of Americans

I went to see it in the morning. I didn't fall asleep after only less than six hours asleep last night and I was also teared up (I won't say which part made me cry). The big skeleton is so obvious Utagawa Kuniyoshi, and Katsushika Hokusai's Kanagawa waves are many times. Japan has exported its values, and after reading the ending credits, there is not a single Japanese as the main creator. It feels like Taketori Monogatari, but the Japanese tradition is that immortals must return to their own world. This is different (not spoiled). The story of the monkey and the beetle flirting and cursing is a bit uh...Of course, this line is well buried, but this kind of communication is completely American...The art is really good, and there is a bit of Miyazaki Hayao in the ruins of the big armor. There are many pictures in the minimalist style, and they are beautiful. Probably a collection of Japanese elements in the minds of Americans...

But the story is really weak. . . I think I was forced to cry because I was too sleepy

After "Carol", I finally heard Rooney Mara's voice in the cinema again, and the brain-damaged fans left a tear of emotion. This film itself is a stop-motion animation with oriental aesthetics. The joy in the story is full of brokenness. I really like it.

The reversal ability of four or two thousand pounds is far worse than that of Kung Fu Panda: this is the gap between the stinginess of Dongying culture and the Qiankun Avenue in the bones. The picture and music are all good, and the plot belongs to the far-fetched chicken soup for the whole family to live and die neatly. The two sister-in-law are very good-looking [really a three-stringed piano~ Those two strings can be understood as family affection, but the Chinese translation is really wrong/uncountable~

Kubo and the Two Strings quotes

  • Monkey: You have questions, I can tell.

    Kubo: Who...

    Monkey: You get three.

Kubo: I think I have more.

Monkey: Three. But first you're gonna eat.

    Kubo: Why only three?

Monkey: Okay, that was your first question.

    Kubo: What?

  • Beetle: I have a feeling this is my destiny.

Monkey: No, it isn't! We can't trust anything you say, because *you* can't trust anything you say.
