what is jennifer

I understand Jennifer as a symbol, a symbol of a desire that is addictive and has disastrous results for others. In her, what I saw was a ferocious face, a pure and cruel nature and a body full of temptation. All men who meet her will be attracted to her, just like drug addiction, which obviously brings pain, but can't stop. The first man tries to end her, but is saved by the protagonist. So a similar story played out again. During this process, the male protagonist seems to have fallen into the quagmire of desire, constantly losing the beautiful things in his life. From the cute little fat cat, to Amy, the innocent little girl, and finally to the teenage son of the female boss, all of them were swallowed alive by Jennifer. The protagonist relies on alcohol to numb himself. After drinking one bottle, Jennifer will still hand him the second bottle. The relationship between Jennifer and the male protagonist is the relationship between parasitism and being parasitized. As the embodiment of desire, the protagonist cannot extricate himself. The ending is meaningful, the protagonist is killed when he finally intends to end his desire, the desire is continued, and the awakening of the individual cannot reverse the essence of human nature.
A bit pessimistic, but maybe it is.
The director and screenwriter may be trying to evoke fear of their own desires, just in line with the theme of the entire TV series.
