An animated classic that will never get tired of watching it many times

I downloaded "Bambi" (I-II) yesterday. I remember that the first time I watched this Disney classic animation was a VCD I watched with my niece who just went to kindergarten. The protagonists are highly anthropomorphic. It is hard for me to imagine that "Bambi" was produced as early as 1942, and it has been more than 60 years since then. I am sure that even if I watch this animation again in another 60 years, I will still be as happy as I am today, watching it with a sincere smile. In addition to the absolute protagonist Bambi, I really like the rabbit named THUMPER, and the beautiful black-and-white ferret who always shyly glances at people with big charming eyes. I can't believe that even "skunk" is so unbelievable. A lovable animal can also be shaped so beautifully, oh, of course, his name is FLOWER, or Bambi. The second part of "Bambi" was produced in 2006. Compared with the classic original work more than 60 years ago, the beginning of this prequel disappointed me a bit. The color saturation is obviously not as good as the original work, and the soundtrack seems to be a little weak. Is the technologically advanced computer animation not as good as the hand-painted picture books more than half a century ago? But after seeing it, I felt pretty good, thanks to that rabbit THUMPER who was entangled by a group of chattering little sisters all day long. He was still as naive as the first episode. I like to watch him recite the quotations that his father taught him under the scolding of his mother. His face is helpless and cute. A classic is a classic, and you won't get tired of watching this kind of animation no matter how many times you watch it.

Bambi quotes

  • Thumper: Whatcha gonna call 'im?

Bambi's Mother: Well, I think I'll call him Bambi.

Thumper: Bambi... Yep, I guess that'll do all right.

  • Flower: [about two birds fluttering around] Well! What's the matter with them?

Thumper: Why are they acting that way?

Friend Owl: Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated.

    FlowerThumperBambi: Twitterpated?

Friend Owl: Yes. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

    Thumper: Gosh. That's awful.

    Flower: Gee whiz.

    Bambi: Terrible!

Friend Owl: And that ain't all. It can happen to anybody. So you'd better be careful.

    [points at Bambi]

Friend Owl: It could happen to you...

    [points at Thumper]

    Friend Owl: ...and you, and...

    [Flower looks at Owl shyly]

Friend Owl: Yes, it could even happen to you!

Thumper: Well, it's not gonna happen to me.

    Bambi: Me neither.

    Flower: Me neither.
