Extremely thrilling, don't watch it if you have a general psychological capacity

The Black Dahlia, 2006's hit movie, the title alone is thought-provoking, but some critics say it's bad and disappointing. The first half hour of the film is very dull, nothing more than explaining the three main characters in the play, two young Los Angeles police detectives and amateur boxers and one of them's fiancée, Scarlett Johansson, who has been familiar recently. The unlucky actor who was killed in "Match Point", the American schoolgirl who pretended to be father and daughter with Woody Allen in "Scoop". Josh Hartnett, one of the male protagonists, once starred in "Lucky Number Slavin". This actor is not particularly handsome. He looks a bit like Sean Shane Battier of a rocket, with a unique mysterious temperament. It's quite appropriate to play this kind of crazy thriller. As far as the progression of the plot is concerned, this movie is still very fascinating, and as the truth is gradually peeled off, the creepy feeling of goosebumps becomes more obvious. In the last ten minutes of the film, the part where the truth is revealed is very uncomfortable, both psychologically and physically. The perverted lesbian porn; Hilary Swank's disgusting affair with her father (who wasn't actually her father); her slack-eyed, psychopathic murderer mother; the scary-looking George; That spooky and bloody murder autopsy scene; the desperate howl of the girl when the corner of her mouth was cut open... I advise audiences who are not mentally able to bear it or not to watch it. This kind of trembling and gloomy mood will last a long time after watching the movie. Time lingers.

As a film about one of the biggest unsolved murders in American history, this film is so mediocre that it doesn't even leave much of an impression after watching it, and it's even more disappointing to put it in the name of director Brian De Palma. Clearly, the film is meant to be retro Hollywood's golden age thriller, but the loose script ruins a good subject, and the result is that the story isn't great, the characters aren't great, and the photography alone deserves credit.
