I’m watching the TC version, not NN, so I’ll just send out my feelings~~

Hairspray is a song and dance film full of dreams and reforms. It is adapted from a Broadway musical that won 8 Tony Awards in 2003. It includes fat girls and fat. Women’s star dreams, the integration of black and white classes, breaking racial discrimination, and other factors. I can’t think that a small joyful film can melt so many heavy topics~~~

At the beginning of the film, it was the solo "good_morning_baltimore" of the heroine TRACY, with a clear voice. , Fast-paced, very powerful, and vividly portray a fat girl who is purely happy and aspires to be a star. The opening song tightly grabbed my ears and heart; "THE NICEST KIDS IN TOWN", It's a bit of American singing and dancing style in the 1960s. People can't help but dance when they listen to it. I like the naming section the most. Oh, yes, in this section, John Travolta appears. The male disguise as a female is super funny. What does John act like? Then, Michelle Pfeiffer played a big villain, "(THE LEGEND OF) MISS BALTIMORE CRABS" is very sexy and elegant~; the heroine's solo songs are all great, this is another good example, "I CAN HEAR THE BELLS" , The heroine’s fantasy of love, the lyrics are very interesting, and the pictures in the movie are even more interesting and a small highlight;... "WELCOME TO THE 60's" John Travolta is here, a MAMA who has seen a new world, John sang and danced in a fat women's dress. He really made a great contribution to the movie;... Queen Latifah is another big-name green leaf. The most impressive one is "I KNOW WHERE I'VE BEEN", which is almost the only one in the film. It’s a lyrical song, expressing the black people’s desire for equality, and it’s a great sing. The "WITHOUT LOVE" of a few young people is unexpectedly good. I thought Tracy’s friend Penny Pingleton was just a meaningful role, but I didn’t expect the little girl to sing the same. It's very good, not inferior to Tracy~ the little white face Link changed too quickly; needless to say at the end, a grand singing and dancing scene.
PS: Is it really a happy job to play John’s husband? (laughs), Christopher Walken’s father is really a good dad, handsome and reasonable, and a lover of his wife, Liu Xiahui. I see him and John loving each other. It looks like it really laughs at me~~~
PS of PS: Was the amount of hairspray used in the United States in 60 years, so terrible~ It should be a very aggressive advertisement~~~

PS of PS: To add two little humours in John’s movie, one was reminded by classmate Yu that John had played Pulp Fiction (forgive my little white, I haven’t watched Pulp Fiction yet). In the movie, John said it as soon as he appeared on the scene. A line from Pulp Fiction; there is another, the fat mother played by John yelled anxiously when he saw a bunch of police and reporters in front of him. Tracy thought "she" was worried about the police, but John was just worried about showing up in front of the camera. I’m fat, and I’m walking forward on my side~~~
There are many funny scenes in it~~~

Now I have so many thoughts, wait for the DVD and enjoy it~~

Hairspray quotes

  • Motormouth Maybelle: [singing] Oh, oh, oh... you can't stop today as it comes speeding down the track! Child, yesterday is history, and it's never coming back! 'Cause tomorrow is a brand new day, and it don't know white from black! 'Cause the world keeps spinnin' 'round and 'round, and my heart's keepin' time to the speed of sound... I was lost 'till I heard the drums and I found my way, 'cause you can't stop the beat!

  • Link Larkin: Uh... we're on live.

Amber von Tussel: You have to vote for a person! Not one of the Himalayas.
