When I see this, I think I see another kind of desperation besides the dark housewife's life. The desperation is so widespread that it extends beyond the housewife population.
Most of us have been married, raised children and worked like this all our lives. Dreams and so on may be fulfilled or forgotten. Then, gradually lose the ability to dream. Even if something happens, most are not dreams but desires.
It may be very sad, when Mayday happily sings "Even if you are disappointed, you can't despair", some people will laugh, these children are still young.
The dream, yes, is like the dream of a child picking up a tin train and wanting to become a train driver. He doesn't know the salary, the intensity of work, the future, and the kind of room he can live in.
Maybe despair started from the moment he knew it. We cannot avoid it, we cannot avoid this despair.
