Slightly crappy, but still watchable

The first time I heard the title from my cousin, I couldn't help laughing, thinking it was a little boy who added a mentally retarded name to his wonderful fantasy. I didn't expect to ask carefully, this movie really exists. The more I thought about it, the more interesting it became, so every year I went home and borrowed this film with my younger brothers, but I never borrowed it every time. This time at my classmate's house in Shenzhen, a computer with a large screen, high-speed online movies on broadband, and everyone slept in the dark night, the conditions were surprisingly good. I watched 1 and 2 in one go, and then went to sleep with a brain full of aberrations and iron blood amid the birdsong in the early morning.

The format of the first part is old-fashioned, and it is still a monster in a closed space; and the foreshadowing is too long, and it took a long time for the alien and the iron-blooded duel to appear. But the plot is compact and there are many fighting scenes. It is quite enjoyable to watch the alien and the iron-blooded appear, gradually meet and fight. The slow-motion close-up of the alien larvae pounced on the human being was shocking on the one hand, and on the other hand, I finally had a chance to see what the larvae looked like. In the past, I always used slow-forward and freeze-frame to see what the aliens looked like. As for the heroine, after all, unlike Ripley in "Alien" who really fought against the enemy alone, she first fought side by side with a supporting actor, followed by Jagged Blood, and was always the protector. At the end, the alien emerges from the iron-blooded body, making people fascinated by the sequel.

Compared to the beautiful ending of the first part, the second part is a bit rotten. The background becomes a small American town, where aliens invade human settlements. The script failed, and many details were unpleasant. That mutant xenomorph actually had the reproductive ability of xenomorph queens, so the rare and perfect xenomorph became an orc-like cheap character in "Lord of the Rings", which could be seen everywhere and appeared in groups (although also in xenomorph 2 Yes, but it doesn't feel the same). Probably because of superbirth and hyperfertility, the quality of abnormal shapes has also dropped significantly. Humans can be swept to death with machine guns, which is very boring. As for the original human slayer Iron Blood, since he inadvertently helped humans in the first part, it seems to have turned into a friend of human beings, not only helping humans eliminate aliens, but also destroying alien corpses, so as not to frighten humans.
There are two doubts: Why did the mutants use pregnant women to reproduce? Probably because the larvae can directly use the unborn baby to become a small abnormality. The tone of this scene is too low. Then there is no need for Jagged Blood to go to Earth alone. It is better to have a companion than a person. After all, that variant alone killed the Jagged Blood of a spaceship. Guess the director may be afraid that the audience will be confused by more than one Jagged Blood. Just like in Part 1, the three Jagged Bloods, the first two were killed by a special type, and the third actually supported the boss alone.
The last is the unpleasant place. The script wrote the three relationships of brothers in distress, mother-daughter, and lovers, but nothing was shown, and it also delayed the time to see Jagged and Xenomorphs, which is nonsense. The younger brother was pierced by a special-shaped tail, but he was able to escape from the devil's lair, and even supported the emergency landing of the plane and sent him for treatment; a group of people warned a villain that they would never abandon the little girl - the wounded and children - Americans are propagating all the time Mainstream values, but people are willing to accept them.
I know from the Internet that the woman who received the iron-blooded weapon at the end owns the company that sent the spaceship in "Alien". So, this movie is actually a prequel to "Alien". This makes it easy to say, otherwise, why would people in the small town not recognize the "abnormal" when they see it? If I meet, at least I will shout: ah, alien!

I still have to tell multiple sets of character stories, please look up and see if there are you stupid humans in the title? The whole film is dark, almost all silhouettes are fighting, and such a cool different iron skewer cannot be seen clearly. 2018 un-SIFF.

The film that accompanied the student that year made me sick to death, and it was only later that I determined what film it was. Fortunately, because of the fiasco of this one, the AVP branch was completely eliminated.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem quotes

  • Kelly O'Brien: It doesn't make any sense. Gilliam Circle is right in the center of town. We'll be surrounded by those things.

Dallas: Wait a second... what are you saying?

Kelly O'Brien: I think the colonel was lying.

Darcy Benson: That's crazy. The government doesn't lie to people.

Kelly O'Brien: The army thinks about containment first. They can't risk this getting any worse.

Morales: Help is a few miles down that road and they're waiting for us. Now, it you won't drive us there, I will.

Dallas: Eddie, if she's right, the only thing down that road are more of those things.

Morales: You're not seriously considering this.

Dallas: I'm considering whatever keeps us alive.

Kelly O'Brien: Which means getting out of this town.

Darcy Benson: There are only two helicopters in town, but one's in the airport.

Dallas: No, it's too far. We'll never make it.

Ricky: The other one's at the hospital.

Morales: The people at the hospital probably used it to get out.

Kelly O'Brien: That's a chance we have to take.

Morales: If you're wrong and the helicopter's gone, we're all dead.

Kelly O'Brien: If I'm right, they're dead if they follow you.

Col. Stevens: But this isn't for our world, is it, Ms. Yutani?
