I actually don't like magic movies. Of course, "Lord of the Rings" is an exception.
Therefore, when "Dragon Knight" was released under the banner of "Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter", I had no plans to go to the theater. Had it not been for Jian Ningfei who couldn't find a woman to go to the theater, I would rather wait until July for "Transformers" before entering the theater.
The plot is super simple and familiar. Apart from the difference between magic and spells, it is a bit like a Chinese martial arts novel.
A courageous peasant teenager picked up a blue egg while hunting. It turned out to be a dragon egg. Of course, dragon eggs will hatch dragons. What is amazing is that the blue eggs hatch out of a blue dragon, and her name is "Lan Er". Does it have Chinese characteristics?
With the dragon, this young man named Iragon became a dragon knight, and a bodyguard appeared in a destined place. Of course, the dragon knight's relatives were also brutally killed. What are you waiting for? Take revenge.
This is not enough. First, this young man has shown courage and stupidity, and his martial arts is not very strong; and this dragon has not reached the most powerful point-fire breathing. (I think this description is very unimaginative. The Chinese dragon can not only breathe fire but also rain. As a result, the Western dragon's greatest ability besides flying is to breathe fire.)
So, the bodyguard who protects the dragon knight next to him is taught. After learning the young man's martial arts, he also told him many secrets about the dragon. Finally, the bodyguard sacrificed honorably in order to save the owner. At this time, the young dragon knight finally grew up. He drove his mount to lead a group of rebellious tyrants and rulers in a heroic fight, and killed one of the other's leaders-the ghost. (Ghosts can be killed too! This kind of ghost is a damn good thing?)
Of course, in order to continue filming the sequel, of course the ruler has not come out yet, do you want to continue watching it? Then next year or next year or N years later!
In addition to the simplicity of the plot, the use of many lenses is also super-like "Lord of the Rings", such as using aerial shots to show atmospheric scenes; some spells are cast very much like "Harry Potter", facing an object in the mouth Call out non-human language; the characters inside are still like "Lord of the Rings", those snake-men and half-orcs seem to be born to a mother.
Of course, the special effects of the film are worth mentioning. Although the newly hatched little dragon is ugly, it is still cute. It's just that after Long grew up, the girl who dubbed her looked a little too old, if it was a sweet voice, it would be even more lovely. The final Ssangyong battle was quite exciting. After reading it, I still sigh, if the traditional Chinese dragon can be photographed like this, it would be great!
The plot of the whole movie is a little too fast. Although the cause and effect can be seen, there are some places that are not as influential as "Lord of the Rings". This also fully illustrates the difference between the imitator and the imitated. The Lord of the Rings can get an Oscar, and the Dragon Knight can only become a vassal of other blockbuster movies.
Furthermore, because the plot advances too fast and the characters are numerous but completed within 100 minutes, many of the characters' personalities are too vague. After watching the movie, they can't even remember the appearance of the ruler. That pretty beautiful heroine can only be seen as a passing moment.
Finally, I should mention that this kind of movie should go to the cinema. After all, it can only bring us sound and special effects, and the plot...you should read the novel, if you have the conditions!
