I just started photography recently, and I was also learning some photography knowledge. I stumbled upon this film that is somewhat similar to a documentary. After watching it, I was very moved. It's a shame that Vivian, a photographer who was unknown when she was alive, was only discovered and worshipped after her death.
I really can't imagine what she went through to make her decide so cruelly to stop contacting men. No matter how you imagine it, she must have experienced something very bad and dark. Her fate is tragic. She has no family, so she is extremely withdrawn. This isolation will make her even less friends. Although she likes photography, there should be no one to share it with. Even in extreme loneliness, she still loves photography, as if she is a bystander in the world, the liveliness of the world has nothing to do with her, she will only observe the world quietly. It can be seen from her photography that she is a very delicate and insightful woman. Her inner world is still very colorful. When I first saw her shooting works, I didn’t take it seriously, but I gradually became obsessed with her. on her photography style.
What she photographed was her daily life, the people and things around her, but she recorded it so vividly and with such artistic beauty, which made me start to reflect on the life I faced, whether I was ignoring it. Many of them ignore the beauty in ordinary life. In fact, our lives today are more colorful than the times when Vivian lived, but our feelings about life are far less rich than Vivian. So the next day I picked up my camera and went outside for a day, photographing many, many, and then I realized that because of my usual fast-paced study and work, I neglected life and the beauty around me.
Some people say that the director used Vivian to discover huge commercial value, but in any case, it is precisely because of the director that we got to know Vivian and discovered Vivian. Cherish the moment, cherish your day, and bravely discover the beauty of life. In fact, anyone can be Vivienne.
Here's the day I grabbed my camera and tried to find it.
