The director of "The Invisible Guest" has made another masterpiece, a Spanish suspense drama produced by Netflix. The eight episodes are short and concise. There are no extra supporting roles in the play. One of the two couples is a despicable father who seems to be stubborn and the mastermind behind all events, and the other is a great mother who seems to be influenced by the male protagonist to choose to forgive and complete "self-redemption". We can't judge who is right and who is wrong, just like because of "accidents" "Dead" Danny, no one can forgive the "perpetrator" Matt in place of the dead. My intuition tells me that the male protagonist is by no means a good person. He seems to be the person corresponding to the title of "Innocent". He has been portraying him as the one who takes the blame, but I always feel that he is the one who is good at pretending to be "innocent". Kind", the "biggest" boss who manipulates the minds of others, gains sympathy from others, and holds "dark secrets" in his heart.
Of course, the theme of the whole drama is quite clear-cut. There are not only the foreshadowing of the reversal, but also the pictures of the fragrant and bloody, as well as those "upper-class elites" who control the power of money and do "devil" behaviors to satisfy their desires. The play does not denounce every "guilty" person, just like in the real society, under the framework of law and morality, only the "tip of the iceberg" is tried and punished.
