Maybe it was because my expectations were too high, and I was looking forward to seeing a story with nine bends and eighteen bends. I didn't expect it to be so simple and direct. In my opinion, Gui is a debut novel, and it does have the problem that its own characteristics are not prominent enough.
I expect each character's perspective to be prominent and independent enough, but after watching the movie, I can vaguely feel the meaning, but it is really too obscure. Everyone can only see part of their own truth. The class is clear, but looking at it this way, it quickly makes people confused. For example, why did the male lead bury his body. Later, I realized that it was because he thought the female lead killed someone, but it seemed inexplicable at the time.
In conclusion, just look forward to the remake, this story has a lot to offer.
