slap yourself in the face

I remember reading a report that during World War II, the beautiful country was trying to make money by selling arms, including to the Japanese army, so the Pearl Harbor World War I slapped the face. Japanese, so it's not wrong at all.

Now I especially like to see the little people in the big era background, because the war is too cruel, life and death seem to be a momentary matter, the choice of the soldiers is even more important, there are fear, escape, heroism, fearlessness. Always wondering what if I were where, if I were him, what would he be.

I always felt that the war movies of the beautiful country lacked something. Now I know that, because the war did not burn to their homeland, all the movies have no family and country feelings.

The scenes, actors, music, and special effects are all well done. Give 4 points. Children who like war and who like to know about that history can go and see it.

Five stars give it restraint. The envy of the United States is that they do not need to be profound, do not need to reflect, do not need to excavate human nature, they can have no historical burden, no dispute, no legality crisis, and they simply praise the immortality of their heroes! 387?

Re-tell those things you already know and nothing to remember. Although the war popcorn film with a burnt flavor of history will become weighty because of the appearance of the hero list, the word "true" seems to be printed, however, I still think that "Battle of Midway" is a war scum film. Especially if you think about it carefully, these places just happen to cut corners and do not need to spend any budget. The title is "Decisive Battle of Midway", in fact, it almost tells the story of the Pacific War, let Yamamoto fifty-six memorize some historical lines, or after a period of time, come to the PPT screen of the last round of war textbooks. The cheap CG images make the iron plane crumble like a plastic sheet (the only impressive impact in the whole film is the dive bombing of the fireworks many times). In order to show that the soldier's will was shaken, he gave the same lecture twice, almost like a cutscene where you would guess the next line, balala. The whole film does not see any necessary and emotional foreshadowing of the story of the decisive battle at Midway. As for character creation, don't think about shaping such a thing.

Midway quotes

  • Franklin D. Roosevelt: It is a day which will live in infamy.

  • Dick Best: [shouting at the staff car] Hey, Nimitz ! when are you going to let us hit those Japs ?

Staff Officer (Nimitz): [embarrassed] I'm sorry, Sir. Shall I get their names ?

Chester W. Nimitz: No. It's good to know at least some of the men still want to fight.
