1) very beautiful open landscapes;
2) beautiful Iranian(?) music appealing to unfamiliar ears;
3) full of sense of humor, proper humor that leads to knowing smiles and decent chuckles (if any chuckle could be decent...); well, even some(all?) sad moments tinged with humor, like the ostrich's running away, the fish barrel's being overturned, the man's carrying different people with his motorcycle (his being cheated, or his hesitating whether to cheat others), etc.
The reason that I dislike The Song of Sparrows:
the story's simple and the thesis that capitalism and technology corrupt man, alienating him from nature, spirituality, and relationship is a bit too obvious.
ps my feeling about this movie should be 3 stars and a half...
