I watched this movie several times, from looking for him to pass the time when I was in a bad mood until I wanted to watch it when I was in a good mood. The cool Addams family, everyone's characteristics are very distinctive, but everyone is very happy together. Some people are bright on the outside, but rotten on the inside. Some people are bright inside and get rid of the shackles of the world.
There are several impressive things about this movie. The first is that the struggle with the villain doesn't take up too much space, leaving more time for the life of the Addams family to unfold. And the cool Addams family never sought public approval. They are always calm when they know how the townspeople treat them, and they don't stand out after being recognized, thus increasing their sense of happiness and well-being. I don't seem to have seen this in domestic films. The non-mainstream faction of domestic dramas always gives me the impression that the non-mainstream and the mainstream live in harmony first, then conflict, the non-mainstream produces resentment, and the non-mainstream achieves a reconciliation later and thus obtains peace and happiness. Either the non-mainstream is innocent and wants to be good to the mainstream, but it is not recognized, and then after gaining recognition, it enhances happiness.
I want to see other gothic-style movies later.
