In 1936, MGM relied on the musical "Song and Dance King Siegfried", which was a project that Universal Corporation could not afford its huge cost, and the screenwriter resold it with MGM, which had the most financial resources at the time. MGM made this film to the highest standards of luxury, and of course it was extremely profitable at 100 percent. It set off a wave of biopic musicals in the late 1930s, but it was still no match for the invasion of time. At that time, only nominated "Mrs. Peacock" and "Mr. Deeds Into the City" received far higher reviews today.
