Based on true events.

Leia was trafficked to Serbia by her mother's sister's husband and became the target of xing by local officials. The heroine found out step by step from Leia that the local police of the international police of the peacekeeping force were involved in the whole incident. She reported the entire case, but was suppressed by the United Nations and fired.

Leia was eventually shot. She was disheartened and brought out all the evidence of the case and exposed it through the media.

At the end of the film, the whistleblower in the real incident still cannot be reinstated, and the shady trafficking incident continues.

A weak ant cannot beat an elephant.

Then protect yourself. Be careful of those around you! ! ! !

Where does the power of a huge institution come from?

Delusions of small parts of a huge institution challenging the institution itself that empowers it?

Justice is a luxury that only the strong deserve.

A rare shot of powerlessness and helpless melancholy. If the narrative line is not so circuitous in a fortitude, and if the story points and explosive force are concentrated a little more neatly, then the film will be more shocking. Evil, like goodness, has always existed and will never disappear. Criticizing it is an inexorable road. I like the film's vague standpoint. There is no end to the criticism of sin. What we need to do is to restore, grieve, and be persistent in justice and coronation.

I highly recommend this film, it's really good. This type of film looks dull on the surface, but it is actually very interesting!

The Whistleblower quotes

  • [first lines]

Raya: [in Ukrainian] I have to get home. Mama's gonna kill me.

Luba: No. You are staying with me tonight. Roman wants us there at nine in the morning. Raya, we've been over this. It's just a few months working in a hotel.

    Raya: Yes, but...

Luba: You want to work at a Copyshack like your mother? He said it was both of us or nothing!

    Raya: ...No.

    [walks away]

  • Blakely: During your training you will see that peace is harder won than war. That every mornings hope is haunted by yesterday's nightmare.
