Oscar suffers from a medical condition where he has trouble understanding other people's emotions and is sensitive to sounds and numbers. This makes it difficult for him to interact with people, as can be seen in other children insulting him in the film. But his father has been actively guiding and patiently accompanying Oscar's growth. Growing up is always a pain, a long journey, many people have matured in time, but their hearts are still hesitant.
In the film, when Oscar talks to his grandfather, the high speed of speech and the sharp and fast cutting scenes show a child's inner backlog of emotions for a long time. Oscar felt comforted again when he finally found out that his mother had been silently guarding him all along. In fact, the father may be the person who understands Oscar the most, but the mother is the person who resembles Oscar the most. I hope we have such parents in our childhood, and even our whole life, or that we can strive to be such parents.
