An adult male looks at the little princess

First of all, I declare that I have not read the novel, so I am purely commenting on the film based on an independent film story.

I like this movie very much, because the director is very good at allowing all kinds of people to see the movie they think of. Let children see fairy tales, let women see beauty, and let men like me who have "lost their light" see different interpretations. So if you are an adult with a low score, think about it for yourself, if you don’t understand something, please check again after reading my analysis~ haha

Here is my interpretation of the film:

The film is about 100 minutes in total. When it reaches half (52 minutes), the director uses a sun-drenched lens to tell us that behind it are the fantasy stories of the heroine after her death. The argument is as follows:

Before the heroine fell asleep, Becky and she were cold across the wall. But the next day, the hostess moved the bed with her to the center, and the cold wind blew her. She even began to dance to the Indian brother on the opposite side against the wind and snow.

After that, everything became magical, whether it was the sudden change of meals, Jane's hair loss, the return of her father, spanning two buildings, or reconciliation with Jane. In the end, the inexplicable headmaster confirmed the magic, everything Everything is completely different from the realism in the first half of the film.

But the framework of all things is exactly the same as the experience framework of the heroine in the first half of the film after she came to school. It is not difficult to see that the director wants to send a message to people like me, that is, the story in the second half is good at The heroine who tells the story, through her previous experience, imagined the adventure story as the basic model of the story.

Finally, I want to say that this is a film that people like me saw, so this is not necessarily true and correct. I just want to give my analysis to the hidden fans who like to dig deeper. So if you are little princesses who are full of love and sunshine in their hearts, please ignore my analysis. After all, the heroine's father also said: Because it's magic. You have to believe it. Magic has to be believed. Only in this way can the spirit manifest.

Finally, I wish you all a happy life as a little princess~ No matter men, women and children

  • Sara Crewe: Don't cry, Becky.

Becky: I'm scared. If Minchin throws me out, I got no place to go.

Sara Crewe: That's not true. I'm here with you. I've always thought of us as sisters.

    Becky: You have?

Sara Crewe: Let's make a promise right now: to always look out for each other.

    Becky: It's a promise.

    [they embrace]

  • [the girls have awoken to find the attic beautifully redecorated and a breakfast of sausages, muffins, and fruit awaiting them]

Sara Crewe: Look! Just what we ordered!

Becky: I'm a little scared about all of this.

Sara Crewe: Me, too. Do you think we shouldn't eat it?

    Becky: I'm not that scared!
