I watched this movie in the afternoon of January 1, 2021. I was going to just find a movie to watch, but the introduction of "A Black Cook" made me want to watch it, see what happened to the cook, and how the story should continue to complete such a film.
From the very beginning when the cook came to the girl's house, the girl's disgust for people who intruded into her and her mother's life, to the "true fragrance", hahahaha makes people deeply understand that if you want to grab a person's heart, you must first grab it her stomach. But it was a little surprising that my mother still had six months to live. My mother sent the girl to school. She watched the girl and the girl behind her grow up through the car window. After school, Mr. Church came to pick her up. The front shot is warmth and love, and the back This shot is kind of sad. The comparison between the two is really amazing, I can't cry.
The girl in the back went to college, and Mr. Church kept writing letters with her. They were obviously not related by blood, but they had "family affection" that cared about each other. The reading habits of girls can be said to be brought by Mr. Church. Mr. Church is really a super good person. He can play the piano and to the level of experience in a tavern, he's a cook and he cooks a lot of delicious food, and he's a painter. He is a principled person, "I accompany you from morning to evening, and now I'm off work, the rest of the time is my private", but such a good person has a shadow of childhood, and his father influenced him too deeply. This drama seems to be that he accompanied the Charlie family for three generations, but in fact it was the Charlie family that made him feel safe and happy, and it was a two-way warmth.
Charlie's friends in the play are also very good wow! The Larson who taught Charlie to drive, Charlie's best friend poppy, and Owen, who she liked when she was a teenager.
