The film focuses on an ordinary family under the self-employment system of capital. Originally happy, they were first dragged into the quagmire of life by the economic crisis, and then fell deeper and deeper under the coaxing of the capitalists. They work hard, but they can't make life better, they work for themselves, but they don't have freedom. Big and small things continue to impact this family on the verge of collapse, and warm love cannot withstand such pressure.
Children are their solace, bring them happiness, and hope for them to get out of this vicious circle. But money and efficiency firmly hold their lives, and returning to the past happiness has become a distant dream.
