The female one-man show, seemingly vast but in a small confined space, thrilled to survive, the first thought of 2013 "Gravity". And this film, in addition to these features, there is one more-fighting sharks. This can't help but recall the author's childhood shadow "Jaws".
Although that movie has a long history and a complete low-cost movie, it is still the best of its kind so far. The kind of suspicion that sharks see their heads but not their tails, they have a lot of IQ entanglement with humans in the water, the oppression of not knowing when they will strike, the screams from time to time and the horrible atmosphere created by the residue of plasma and short limbs, vaguely remember the beginning of childhood I was scared to hide my face when I saw it. I watched many beast disaster movies in the follow-up, probably only Jurassic Park and the Anaconda disaster will make the author have similar feelings when I first saw it. Even many movies with similar themes, but only in the cloak of beasts and disasters, purely show off bloody tastes, cult tastes, and other things that have nothing to do with the theme itself.
Speaking of which, although gravity is not a beast disaster, it is similar to the great white shark, its originator. The sense of unknown oppression brought by the quiet and isolated environment of outer space is seriously consistent with the sense of threat posed by sharks, because you don't know when you will die. Watching this film again, it is like paying tribute to the great white shark and gravity, reflecting the gameplay and routines of the two films.
For example, the story of gravity begins when the heroine comes to the space station, and soon encounters a crisis, so she returns to the earth station and stands on the beach to make a knot. Shark Beach is also the beach where the heroine enters the film's only stage, the beach where the name is unknown from beginning to end. It also suffered a disaster soon and survived in the end. Coincidentally, the last scene of the film is also the heroine on the beach. In addition, both movies are interspersed with the protagonist's personal affection scenes in the survival process, and there are also slightly thrilling and bloody short-lived scenes in order to show the deadly and dangerous environment. What surprised the author even more was that gravity showed us the personal computer panel of the heroine in the subjective lens. Shark Beach simply hit the screen of the watch phone on the screen. The author feels that this movie has fully grasped the gravitational routine.
However, although Shark Beach took the traditional route, it did not meet all the indicators well. For example, the emotional connection between the heroine and her mother and her family is somewhat headless in the film, and the combination with disaster is not as natural and necessary as gravity. Most of the time in the film, the heroine is like a juvenile pie on the rock, which slows down the rhythm of the film and does not continue to create tension. Although the film is short, less than ninety minutes, it is still a bit procrastinated and not compact enough. The most important point is the creation of a sense of horror and oppression. This is also the most inadequate part of the film. Only when the heroine goes to pick up the helmet and finally decides to swim to the buoy and face-to-face with the shark, I can feel a strong sense of ignorance. The fear of when the shark will strike, and the pressure of the shark's continued attack. The heroine in front was lying on the reef, and the shark was helpless, so she had to circle her, and the sense of urgency disappeared instantly. However, the heroine's method of dealing with sharks is still considered to have IQ. There is no enemy, but outspoken. It depends on corals, jellyfish, and steel bars to destroy the beasts.
I always feel that the heroine looks like the transgender of the eight protagonists in Super Sense Hunting, so I will have some illusions after watching it for a long time. But at least the long legs look really seductive.
Whether it's surfing or shark fighting, it can bring more coolness in September when the residual heat is still hot.
