interracial feelings

I still remember hearing adults say when I was a child that most girls who choose to marry foreigners will end in divorce, because foreign boys do not have the sense of family responsibility that Chinese boys have.

However, over the years, my friends, classmates, and Americans have been happily married. Especially a classmate who gave birth to two children, her husband works remotely from home during the day and is responsible for all the work of taking care of the children, so the classmates have time to continue to pursue their own careers.

Thinking about it now, it may not be the focus of which country to marry, the most important thing is to see whether the TA has a sense of responsibility. Some domestic families are not yet experiencing a widowed education model. Obviously, both parents go to work, and my mother has to be responsible for most of the housework. So tired, I may not be able to receive praise from my husband. Such an unequal hard-working marriage will eventually break down when it reaches a qualitative change.

The combination of different races may take more time to run in due to some cultural differences, but if you meet a TA with similar values, it is worth trying to communicate.

Look at the little mouse Stuart and the pigeon Magro in "The Rat 2", they are separated by species differences that are more obvious than the differences between races. But Stuart didn't care about this at all, and kept being nice to Margro from beginning to end. Maybe that's why we liked the little elf mouse so much when we were kids and now. Although he is very small, he is no less brave and tolerant than an adult human being.

As for us, sometimes because we are too worried, we are reluctant to take a brave step, and we dare not try to communicate with TAs who are a little different from ourselves. We are not as free and easy as little mouse Stuart.

I have always felt that deep emotions can be established between different races/species, as long as both parties are sincere enough. Like us and the puppies/kittens in the house. Although they don't understand each other's language very well, as long as they are sincere to each other, they can feel our love and repay us in their own way.

I still remember watching the most heart-wrenching scene in the sci-fi drama "Real Humans": a robot child and a human mother get along day and night, empathizing with the mother and child. But at a critical juncture, the human mother chose to sacrifice the robot child for a stranger of the same kind. When the robot child knew the choice of the human mother, his eyes were full of confusion and sadness. He never understood how the mother he really loved would rather save the irrelevant person.

The feelings between different races/species are not that complicated. We should spend more time to experience them, so as not to let down the TA who is ours in our hearts.

*I didn't notice Stuart and George's family living in a townhouse in New York City when I was a kid watching Rat. A house of this location and size in New York should be very, very expensive, and the George family is really quite rich.

**When I was a child, I especially liked the first "Little Elf Mouse". When I grew up and watched the sequel of the same series, I felt that the storyline was too simple. Maybe this kind of movie is more suitable for children to watch. If you want to watch a light-hearted movie that doesn't require you to use your brain, you can go to "The Elf Mouse 2".

Stuart Little 2 quotes

  • Stuart Little: How can you think of eating at a time like this?

Snowbell: Look, I'm nervous. And when I'm nervous I eat. 'Cuz I know, in my growling gut, that if anything happens to you, I'll be blamed. I'm sure the Littles already know we're gone and are planning to replace me with a hampster.

  • Stuart Little: [as a newspaper falls on him] Oof, hey look! The Yankees won!
