One of my favorite scenes to start with, the vision of John retrieving the body of his eldest son. He rode a horse in the morning light and came close, the audience could not see his expression clearly, the atmosphere of the picture was uneasy and unsettling; then he led the horse and carried the corpse and walked away, with his back to the audience. Expecting and hesitating, will a tough guy like John cry, does he really love his children, will he be hopeless and powerless... But his steps are steady, as if he is carrying the eldest son of his childhood.
“We’ll just… we’ll just rest here a bit”
As for the rest of the season...
First of all, there are a little more awkward lines. If most people don’t usually say something, if they want to put it on the screen, they must have a contrasting background. Except for John, Rip and Beth, they have enough aura and mystery to say some lines that need thinking. In addition, the other characters are too little to tell the truth... Secondly, the story is contrived, and there is a meaning that the sky will be responsible for the Si family. Of course, accidents can happen, but there must be a foreshadowing, and it cannot be a running account. In the end, most of the actors are too jerky, especially the youngest son's daughter-in-law, staring into her eyes without knowing what emotion it is... It can only be said that such a face makes the plot a lot of surprises.
