The miracle and inspiration of life

Watching with the mentality of watching a documentary to increase knowledge, I did not expect this to be a story of emotional exchange and interactive learning between a person and an octopus. The hero of this film goes from discovering a strange octopus to accompany the octopus to give birth to the next generation and die. It turns out that the octopus has the intelligence and spirituality of cats and dogs. It is very smart. It spends its short life (about a year's lifespan) with its own wisdom. I met the male protagonist of this film, a marine biological scientist. The protagonist of this film (the smart octopus) gave the hero a lot of strength, and of course it also moved me in front of the screen. From being chewed off by a robe shark, from dying to slowly recovering, the limbs grow again, spending the rest of the life to lay eggs, and finally becoming other scenes of mediating with the robe shark is amazing, this is really just a marine soft body biological? We are fortunate to have such a group of scientists who are dedicated to the research and protection of marine life. Because of their persistence in exploring the miracle of life day after day, we have the opportunity to better experience the wonders and touches such marine life brings to people. Of course, the surprise of this octopus didn't stop there!

My Octopus Teacher quotes

  • Craig Foster: What she taught me was to feel... that you're part of this place, not a visitor. That's a huge difference.

  • [first lines]

Craig Foster: A lot of people say an octopus is like an alien. But the strange thing is, as you get closer to them, you realize that we're very similar in a lot of ways.
