I got little shocked at how Uncle Charlie descended from a role model into the "nightmare", especially the plot of maneuvering his niece into the garage.
Black and white films in particular create a terrifying atmosphere, and their family's dinner table chat has always given me a feeling of darkness. It's still an ordinary movie. I have to say that the title of Shadow of a Doubt is very good, and it also points out the motive of Uncle.
