Warm family movie Casper 7/2/2020
Revisiting the movie when I was a child, the DVD at that time was scratched, and I could not watch it in its entirety. Now it can be regarded as filling this small gap.
The story is simple, ingenious, warm, touching, and a little sad. The villain is so bad that it has a stereotyped image like the old witch in the 101st loyal dog. The three messy old ghosts became very human after they got acquainted, and they also contributed to the meeting between Dr. Harvey and the angel who was the incarnation of his dead wife. The little actors (and special effects) made this scene, and the scene where Casper and Kat reached out their palms to each other curiously and trustingly was very moving. Kat helps Casper, who has lost his memory, reawaken his childhood memories and find his treasures. Casper also repays him, giving the precious chance of resurrection to Kat's father.
I like the image of Casper (the 12-year-old boy is so handsome), the landscape of Maine and the Friendship town, and the innocent friendship and emotion between the two teenagers expressed in the movie under this background.
