When I saw the movie poster and found that the three leading actors were two blacks and one white, I had a hunch that this was an inspirational story about racial discrimination, and I was curious about the role the white man played in it. This white guy, Nicholas Holt. I know he's in the skin. Once again he was seen in the warm corpse. He looks amazing in these two dramas, so seeing him in the poster is also one of the reasons why I want to watch this movie.
In terms of plot, neither enlarge nor reduce the impact of racial discrimination in the United States of that era. Whites and blacks can be partners and friends, but in the face of the big environment and even the law, they can only bow their heads. I think the significance of these two bankers is that they are sitting on wealth and still want to fight. Even if they are still convicted, in fact, the black people's struggle for interests is to use this "lesson" to wake up the public. Although Matt made perjury for his own sake, it is also very true that he helped the two save their property. The parts of real estate and bank acquisitions in the plot may be too academic to make people into the drama, but in fact, the theory is not so esoteric despite the numbers.
In American movies, there are often good classics where black people fight against racism. But in fact, in modern American society, I believe that many Asians have also been discriminated against, or some of them are also Americans and have contributed to the development of the United States. Maybe someday I'd like to see someone filming their true story.
