The story takes place in a beautiful Italian coastal town. The protagonist Luca is a sea monster who lives in the sea with his parents. His daily job is to look after the fish. One day, he met a fellow named Alberto and went ashore at his instigation. Before that, little Luca's parents often warned him that the human land monster on the shore was terrible, and he must not go ashore, there would be danger. But after going ashore, he looked at the blue sky, the soft sandy beach, the green trees and vegetation by the seaside, all of which made him reluctant to part, who could resist breathing freely! Since then he has often visited Alberto's house ashore.
It wasn't long before Luca's parents found out about him sneaking out to play. In order not to put him in danger, his parents plan to send him to Uncle Deep Sea's house. But the child was very rebellious, and Luca escaped secretly, fleeing to a nearby town with Alberto. They meet Giulia, a little girl who is on vacation at her father's house in town, and they start an adventure.
Interesting plot:
1. In the movie, the sea monster dehydrated and turned into a normal person, and immediately returned to the original setting when it encountered water. The main conflict of the story is also related to this setting.
2. Assemble the car. Before going to the town, Alberto and Luca would get on a self-made motorcycle (actually a bicycle), first borrow the downhill dive, and then rush into the air through the rocker, but because it is a self-made car, it can't stand the high-speed slide, and it always falls apart while running. , Fortunately, the sea is below, and the two little friends will be fine if they jump down.
Alberto loves assembling cars because he has a poster of a motorcycle Vespa on the wall of his house, and he is very eager to own a Vespa. Vespa is an Italian motorcycle brand. During the Roman holiday, the male lead takes the female lead to play, and the car is Vespa. There is also a poster of Roman Holiday in the film Summer Friends Sunny Day, which is a small easter egg in the film.
Of course, motorcycles are also the key clues to promote the plot. The original intention of the two sea monsters' adventure is to buy a motorcycle for the prize money of the competition.
The broken part:
1. Identity is too easily recognized. In the story, Luca, Alberto and a little girl team up to win a triathlon (swimming, eating pasta, cycling). (God knows why there is such a boring game!) This champion has been occupied by Zhenba and his two henchmen all year round.
In the final cycling session, Luca had taken the lead, but it started to rain, and Luca had to reveal his identity if he wanted to win the race. In order to win, Luca did not hesitate to reveal her identity. After revealing their identities, the villagers were supposed to shout and kill, but after Giulia's father supported them, the villagers seemed to accept their identities immediately. The acceptance here is very sudden and lacks the process of conflict, understanding and coexistence between humans and other species (maybe the director doesn’t want to make a big deal, after all, it’s just an animated film, and telling a story may be enough).
2. There is no reason for Zhenba to be bad, and no one cares about the story behind him. He used his followers as tools, and after he failed, he fled in despair, and the followers stopped following him, as if they had no reason to be angry before, a very typical tool setting. Because the sky will be in charge of the protagonist, there are tool people to block the protagonist, and it seems reasonable to be defeated by the protagonist in the end.
3. Even Alberto, one of the protagonists, has a tendency to be a tool man. Before the movie, his father left him to explore the world, but in the end, his father didn't explain why he left, and he didn't come back in the end. He was single-minded with Luca, mad at Luca and Guilia playing well, much like a kid throwing a tantrum after losing his best playmate. At the end of the movie, he stayed at Guilia's father's house, but in addition to liking cars, the movie did not give this little friend a proper placement, and he seemed to have become a tool man. Hey?
Overall, this film is about a 6 out of 10. It can put people in a beautiful coastal town in Italy to enjoy the leisure of summer, and then miss the past youth through the childishness and bravery of children.
In addition, many film critics have mentioned that the relationship between the two boys is on the ground. It is exactly the same as the cp of Nezha and Ao Bing after the release of "The Devil Child of Nezha", which is probably the same as rotten eyes. But if there are a thousand people, there will be a thousand Hamlets. I don't like it. There are too many interpretations in this regard, and interested readers can look for the film.
