The paintings explore the lives of a group of people living on "The Loop," a machine designed to explore and unravel the mysteries of the universe, making possible what was previously only available in science fiction. In this fantastical, mysterious town, poignant human tales are told of naked universal emotional experiences, while exploiting the intrigues of genre narratives. The gain and loss of time, the loss and reconciliation of family love, the fusion of flesh and machinery, the prepared death and the too late to prepare parting.
