The so-called "Students who don't have the director's commentary and subtitles, don't watch it" mentioned in the second short comment made me so incomprehensible that I wanted to send a reply (I have some own understanding of the movie Holy Mountain, maybe I will sort it out after a while Write it down and see).
This is not a film that is so obscure that it needs to be watched by the director himself. I think the reason it's confusing is because of his artistic expression, which is very difficult to access in our culture. As for the story itself, there are indeed many symbols and symbols, but this "language" is not unique to Jodorowsky, so why can't you understand it at all? I don't understand why people still use crutches when they can walk, what's the matter with so many likes, is it because they don't want to think about it?
